Awesome episode :D. Though last week's was made of crazy.

I couldn't watch [Jack's surgery, hahaha. My mom and I provided for a nice chorus of Oh's and Ew's.].

I'm kind of wondering if they had already established [the ability to communicate with the 'real world' from the Island before??] I'm forgetting information now.

INCLUDING the fact that [Jack and Claire are technically brother and sister.] I would like to thank the writers for reminding me this week.

I might have to watch it over again, if I find time :o.

Ahhh! It was so worth the week-long wait! VERY good episode, but I agree with Gage, last week's was still better :-) ALTHOUGH... Hurley was very creepy in this episode!LOLJorge did a GREAT job last night!!BUT... I still want to see my luvable, squishable Hurley some more :-)

Yes- figuring out the order of the flashforwards is tricky - I think this one was before last years finale - Jack looked like... he was just beginning to lose the will to shave in this episode - and we actually had a specific date given to us in last week's episode. What a puzzle! I'm going to watch this one again.

I'm still wondering about the flashfowards. I'm never quite sure if the flashforwards are like the flashbacks, progressing forward with each episode. I wonder if anyone has re-edited the shows so that only the flashforwards are shown? Might be interesting to see how that flows?

Ragu What Jin said was that If she kept lying he'd break Daniel's fingers one at a time. She asked what he wanted, and he said when the helicopter came for her she was taking Sun with her. He didn't care about himself or anyone else. Just get her in the helicopter.

Which I think is kind of dumb. Once Sun's off the Island, Keamy and crew could just waste Sun. I think Ben will be the one who gets them off the Island. Anyway I'm doin my first re-watch.

Matthew and Evie were fantastically brilliant.
Elizabeth brought her A game.
Sam/Bernard...I use to think he was ok in an Artz fashion, but his character's growing on me the more he's had the opportunity to be on-screen, especially his key scene last week and so forth.
Josh was great as well.

99.50 parts greatness. .50 complete disappointment
Loved the Jack/Kate stuff....but knew that it was just a taste to get everyone jazzed and then it would be taken away in the same ep to mess with us and due to the start of the downfall of Jack and the situation at hand. But it was really nice to see that relationship jump forward, and Matthew and Evie did a great job on that.

Liked the Sawyer/Claire stuff.

How Christian ties into everything still will be interesting.

.50 disappointment. I was really disappointed that they off'd Danielle. I think it would've been a great story arc, for her to turn up alive and surviving barely. Come across her dead daughter, go on a revenge spree, and throughout that time, for which maybe it could've been a two-part ep... have the flashback of Danielle, from the time she got to the island, to the time she was on, etc...and at the end of the ep, when she basically blames Ben for everything and tries to kill him, she ends up dying, shot by a surprise shooter, or ben himself.

But that will join the dashed storylines I hoped for, along with possibly the Walt storyline that I really hoped for.

Other than that, the episode was brillance.

Way to go (coining phrase) "DNC." Damon aNd Cuse.

Theories - I have been saying for a while that there are tunnels that connect the stations and other places on the island... Ben's secret room supports that theory, but the carvings seem to indicate they might be pre-Dharma. I don't believe Ben 'controls' Smokey, but he can manipulate him/it. I think he shut down the security ring and did something to attract Smokey, knowing it would first go after those who were shooting people. I don't think Ben's secret room is the 'magic box'... I think that is at The Temple.

channel 7 in Australia ("Australia is the key to the whole game") is moving the Lost timeslot again! Originally, in seasons 1-3 it was 8:30pm Thursday, then they moved it to 9:30 this year. Next week they move it again to 10:30.

Australia needs your help to reverse this disasterous decision. They say they're moving Lost due to low ratings. (probably contributed to by their own bad programming. they're also guilty of randomly holding back episodes in each season)

This new timeslot move will no doubt result in a loss of viewers. Finishing at 11:30pm, it is too late for a lot of people & not everyone has a VCR or DVD recorder.

Please help by sending your concerns to-

And I'm going to be sailing on the Queen Mary 2. So, I fly into London on Saturday, go see the LOTR musical that night, then transfer down to Southampton on Sunday and board the ship and sail to New York, arriving on May 10.

*DrU rests peacefully in his hammock in "Partymania" as the trees begin to sway and the ground begins to violently shake.... Dust fills the air, then suddenly the Ole Smokey Express breaks through the tree line on the seven o'clock route to the S.S.C.C.!

He reaches into his back back and pulls out his lasso and skateboard; he steps on the skateboard and tosses the rope perfectly around smokey's neck. He is is tugged forward and begins racing through the jungle past Otherville, The Black Rock, and Jacobs's cabin....

A few moments pass and he arrives on the beach, releasing the rope and allowing the force to carry him past the large crowd gathered for the DJ Kaidy show and through the Camel proof door into his seat in Hattori Hanzo's state of teh art sound studio...*

MissPants thanks for the good wishes, we need them. I don't live in Suffolk but it's just down the road a piece, as they say, from Norfolk.
Many of my co-workers live there and it was an awful wait yesterday while those weather updates crawled across the TV screens.
Several of the women have kids in school out there and they were hysterical to say the least.
I guess we were lucky in that there were no deaths.
One co-worker has a smashed garage and many have blown out windows but no injuries in our hospital family.
