urban - the show's always had a scary edge to it, and we are preserving it as best we can -

oh, there was a question earlier about our timeslot and whether it affects out content, and the answe ris no, we are doing the smae show as last year, i can't think of a single thing we have done differently because of the change of time slot.

aramina - really? i have always thought of cottage cheese as a breakfast food (although i also had it for dinner the night before). i never mix cottage cheese with pineapple, i actually don't like mixing "crystalline" flavors (like citruses, fruits, mints, etc.) with "cream" type flavors (like dairy). i'm weird that way.

urbandruid - well, it's also true. there's certain things that should remain shrouded in mystery. when i worked at nbc back in the stone age, they had this show called "earth 2" and they explained a lot of the metaphysical stuff by saying that "this planet has a very sensitive psychic plane." which is a fine explanation, but not a particularly satisfying one - i think for us, especially since our show takes place in a more "real" world, things like the appearance of jack's father and so on are better left in the realm of multiple possibilities.

judo - i share your frustration, believe me, it is hard to get some of the comic books tores that i go to personally to order a new title - even when i wrote it! i am not sure i would take up a highly addictive customizeable card game just to get it on the shelves though!

hijinx - the kremlin is arguably the cutest dog ever, i commend you on the (virtual) scratching (and i hear that should big huskie show up, the kremlin does command a sizeable army).

faith - how is jack connected to shannon? look at the hospital scenes in "man of science, man of faith" for the answers.

truth - well, let me put it this way, we won't be dedicating any individual episodes to answering some of those things, but the answers should all become clear as the series progresses (how's that for vague?)... as far as jack's dad marching around, well, that falls under the category of things for which there are many possible answers, like the mysterious appearances of walt? is it possible that somewhere on the island walt and the monster are sitting around saying "has anyone seen that jerk christian shephard? he owes me six bucks!" well...possibly (if unlikely) but frankly, a lot of the metaphysical things will probably remain shrouded in ambiguity for the foreseeable future.
