The woman standing behind Sun has now been blacked out

I just went back to abc.com to rewatch the scene where Sun and Lapidus were talking with Christin and at one point you saw what looked lke a blond woman in a black t-shirt standing behind Sun.

Well, when I got to that scene, the woman was blacked out.

I take that as it was a mistake, that it was most likely a crewmember or stagehand who accidentally got into the shot and they missed it.

Well that sucks. I really enjoyed thinking it was Claire. She's one of my favorite Losties and I miss her on the show. Bummmmmmmmmerrrrrrrrr

Since it was a mistake I'm glad they corrected it though, I like when they fix inconsistencies for the dvds and repeats.

Yeah, me too. It would have been cool if it had intentionally been someone. But since they fixed it, I'm chalking it up to a production error.

Apparently, the didn't black it out, but rather went back in time and fixed it. From this recent interview with Darlton:

BE: In Episode 509, “Namaste,” there’s a woman seen standing behind Sun. Was it a production error?

DL: (Long pause) We don’t know what you’re talking about.
