I reread Atlas Shrugged, and while the place where all the striking producers go to is in the middle of mountains, it has so many coincidences, surgeon maintenance men, a ray sheild reflecting the mountains to make the grass landing field and town invisible from the air, and John Galt comes across so Ben-like its a bit spooky. My bet is on Atlas Shrugged having been one of many actual infuences on the show.....

Cabin in the Woods is getting great buzz.. Breaking through the genre. I won't say any more than that. I'm going to have to wait for DVD to watch it, too scary for me. (need the pillow to hide behind... and the Fast Forward button.. and the Power OFF button... and...)

If you plan to see MIB3 watch for the Spielberg easter egg homage to Stanley Kubrick of CRM 114. It's easy to spot. It's on an underground tunnel entrance. Spielberg did this before in Back to the Future.
