Thanks, Sam. This post is just the kind of thing is just what I was looking for...outside the box (or, errr, in the box I guess)...so, maybe Kate was always on the move even as a child. Maybe she lived with her mom sometimes and Sam at other times. I love the baseball cap reference that places her near Tustin. We know that Locke is a baseball enthusiast.

And who can forget Locke's strange orange smile to Kate when she is taking off the corpse's shoes? I read somewhere, perhaps from you in the "juice" thread, that it is connected with something players do in baseball.

That scene has always stood out to me as well...the orange smile. Very creepy. It's her expression that cinches it for me though!

The more I think about the possiblity of Kate possibly being the one to raise Ben.The more the entire other Ben/Kate list I made begins to come together. What if he learned everything he knew as an adult...from her, when she appeared back in time in 1974? That would explain almost every single 'coincedence' on the list...and that would be one of their connections (if not more). Everything....right down to the license plates, fake I.D.'s and manipulation factors. It's almost as if one could literally ask...

Which came first...Young Ben...or Young Kate? Does he send Richard to visit her as a child in Iowa? Keep an eye on her, so to speak, as he did with John Locke? Does Kate end up protecting young Ben from a drunken Roger? (omg what a scene THAT would be).Doesyoung Ben get influenced by Kate's own 'history' to later follow suit and remove his own father in a similar manner?

This.Plotline.Would.So. ROCK.


With all that? Who would even think about the stupid triangle? Seriously !

^^^Agree, but for some reason I'm thinking Kate may have physic like abilities at times.

Go to Edit Options (On the left side)
then scroll down to "Thread Display Options", then "Default Thread Age Cut Off" change to "Show All Threads"

And Kate learned to con from Cassidy and she learned to con from Sawyer (where did Sawyer learn to con?) - What goes around comes around.

But why would Kate need to teach Young Ben to con? It looks like he's on the island from the time he's pre-teen, not a baby.
