I called all the reveals before they happened, and something about the whole episode I just wasn't happy with. It just felt tired and predictable. I was expecting it to be amazing, but it was just kind of a letdown. The only shock was Daniel getting shot, and that was disappointing and sad.
Gave it a 9. A Daniel centric epi - sweet! I wasn't shocked by a whole lot of what happened but that's the consequence of hanging out on a LOST forum. Still, it was great to see everything coming together and making sense. Very cool twist that the Losties could be the variables in the equation.
BUT DAN HAD BETTER NOT BE DEAD! NO! Take him to the Temple, please!!!
10!!!
So many questions answered! I liked the way the TT was linked up.
We got an explanation of what the incident was.
We saw a softer side of Eloise and of course the sad death of Daniel.
Fabulous episode. Best of the season, and maybe one of the best overall. Gave it a 10, which I rarely do. Is everyone sure Dan is dead? His wound looked like it could be fatal but he was still moving his eyes as the episode closed.
I went with a 7. It was very good, the ending where Eloise shot her own son was a huge surprise for me. The scene between Sawyer and Juliet was very touching, they have amazing chemistry. I think that I went with a 7 and not something higher was just because I am just dying to see Locke, Rose, Bernard, etc. Every episode, I keep expecting that we'll see them and then when we don't, I'm a little disappointed.
I'm trying to ration my "10" ratings during this amazing season, but I just couldn't stop thinking about this episode and its loopy time-travel implications, so "10" it is.
So sorry to see Daniel go--in such a heartbreaking way, and with his work unfinished.
