Thought it would be interesting to rate the earlier eps since it wasn't done when they first aired. (To make comparisons easier, I'm shamelessly borrowing Hugo Xiong's ratings system.)
I was actually surprised how well this ep held up; it was actually improved now that we know Jin's side of the story from ...IT. Yunjin turned in an amazing performance; there was a lot of character development; most of the cast was well utilized, especially the usually underused characters Sun, Jin, Michael, and Walt; it forwarded the island plot with the move to the caves; and it introduced one of the more interesting island mysteries (which has been completely ignored since then, but oh well).
Didn't like this episode as much as I liked others. The Sun's flashbacks really weren't that interesting. Other than that I liked the stuff that was going on on the island.
I gave this episode a 7. I enjoyed several scenes and watched it over and over as I have
all the episodes, but I have to rank it against other Lost eps
I think Yunjin is an incredible actress and I really enjoyed her shall I leave him scene
at the airport.
I gave it a 10! It has perfect dramatic elements, a true romance story (Which I usually don't watch), and the attack scene with Jin and Micheal made it even more worth watching.
7.5 a solid episode. it contained interesting and important character development, especially in light of the later epis, but I also have to rate it in light of other epis, and there are a few that blew me away or intrigued me more.
