LOL I watched V tonight and Erica (Liz Mitchell's character) said "Don't tell me what I can't do!"
I can't help it but the whole time I'm watching V, I'm thinking "So, in Juliet's flashsideways she isn't a doctor, she's in the FBI..."
Definately true, except I don't see a lot of Juliet in Erica. Since it follows Lost I guess it's easy to imagine Juliet had a totally different life and has yet another personality lol This was the best episode of V yet.
Anyone else thinks that Juliet may be Sun's doc in a future epi? Id love for it to happen! I mostly think it may be Jack, but who knows!
I saw that postulated elsewhere and I can definitely see it happening, but I don't really want it to happen. I'm getting really tired of the cameos in the FS that don't really have any point to them. If Juliette only returns to the show for a pop-in role as Sun's doc, I'm going to be pretty upset.
I wouldnt actually, otherwise she may just be back as Jack's ex wife and James's future love.
I mean, I wouldnt mind it to be honest, but having her involved in a pregnancy issue would be ideal for me, since that was the reason she was brought to the island in the first place.
I also don't mind the sideways connections at all, so that may be making a difference on this side.
So many great characters back for tonight's episode. And another one without our Jules in the Flash-Sideways. Sigh.
For a second when we saw that back of Claire at the carousel, I thought it might be Jules. And to top it all off, there were a million frickin' V commercials. I'm happy that EM is on that show and it apparently has a fan base (I know Jorge Garcia loves it), but I don't have time for that show in my life right now, and seeing her in those commercials just makes me miss Juliet more and more each time I see one!
Juliet actually being the one that saves sun would be just like the island. She made her stay at the camp to get her on the chopper home. If Juliet is a surgeon, then I definately think it's Juilet that saves sun.

Yeah I feel the same way. Getting to watch EM on another primetime sci-fi drama is nice and all, but it just ain't the same...
Amie Vigneux writes: “I have a question about the significance of Eloise’s pin. Doesn’t it look a lot like the symbol/mark Juliet was branded with by The Others in the season 3 episode ‘Stranger in A Strange Land?’”
It certainly does resemble Juliet’s blistered mark. (For visuals, check out Lostpedia’s shot of the brand here and Doc Arzt’s screencap of Eloise’s pin here.) It makes for an interesting allusion. Juliet got tagged after Ben ordered her death sentence commuted for killing Danny and helping Sawyer and Kate escape from Hydra Island. In waiving her sentence, Ben declared that the “the rules don’t apply” to Juliet. But he also said she had to be marked. Why? That’s open to debate. For now, let’s note that Juliet was someone for whom “the rules don’t apply,” and I would say something similar can be said of Eloise Hawking/Widmore, who seems mysteriously capable of defying the forces of time and space that define the lives of the rest of us mortals.
Juliet’s mark always reminded of a shooting and exploding star. An exploding star breaks into bits of star stuff, or smaller stars (poetically speaking). It’s a nice link to Claire’s fave lullaby for Aaron: “Catch A Falling Star.” By blowing up Jughead, did Juliet create a big bang that birthed a new universe/world? Did the explosion turn her castaway friends into star stuff that scattered across parallel worlds? Is it possible that Juliet’s barnd was foreshadowing for her role as Island Shiva, the destroyer/creator? Probably not… but fun to wonder.
Eloise Widmore was sporting two of these symbols on her lapel. Perhaps it means she’s now playing star catcher, tasked with collecting and recombining the souls that have exploded out of one timeline and fallen into another. Juliet’s mark is different from Eloise’s pins in a couple ways. For starters, Juliet had one mark, while Eloise had to pins. The brand resembles a magic wand, with the star shape at the terminus of the stick. Eloise’s pins form two parallel lines bisected by stars. My theory: Eloise’s pins are a metaphor for the split worlds of Lost. The parallel lines are the parallel timelines. The parallel stars on those lines denote a synchronized event in which the characters in both worlds/timelines will become fully aware of each other. Call it: An outbreak of Instant Enlightenment Now! FUN FACT! Many of you (including reader Chris Burgwald, the first to bring this to my attetion) have pointed out that May 23—the date of Lost’s series finale—is Pentecost, which celebrated 50 days after Easter. According to The Bible, Jesus promised to send The Holy Spirit to assist his followers in their work. On the 10th day after Christ’s ascension into heaven, the disciples were gathered together when suddenly a heavenly noise filled the room and “tongues of fire” fell upon their heads, enabling them to speak various languages. Does Eloise Widmore’s pins anticipate a Pentecost-like event in both worlds? Castaways, prepare to have your foreheads licked by enlightenment.
I have to believe that the similarities are not a coincidence. But I'm not sure of the significance, yet. And why does Eloise have two? Maybe because she's aware of the two 'worlds'? Why is her one pin smaller than the other? Maybe because the one 'world' will eventually take over the other? (or ... like Narnia, is the island sort of another secret world that is within the 'real world'... yes, I'm on a new Narnia-theory kick)
It was also interesting to me, upon rewatch, that Ben said (well, to that creepy Isabel girl) the rules don't apply to Juliet - in much the same way Daniel said the rules don't apply to Desmond (and yes, yet another thing I'm going to have to add to my Desmond/Juliet comparison...).
So, Juliet was branded with this mark instead of being killed (as punishment for killing Danny). In light of the flashsideways and Eloise's pins... anyone have any new theories as to the meaning and/or purpose of the brand?

As an FBI agent on the ABC series V, Elizabeth Mitchell defends Earth against aliens. As a villain-turned-hero on Lost, which airs its final episode this month, she worked her way around a warped island by pointing guns at a lot of people. Sci-fi roles aside, she's known for her turn as Angelina Jolie's lover in the cult film Gia ("I get to kiss some of the most beautiful people," she says.) Here, she dishes and tells.
To play a badass in V . . . I'm learning martial arts and sword work. I've got this massive stick I whip around my body. I feel like a ninja until I hit myself in the head.
If I could have a do-over . . . I probably wouldn't have worked so soon after CJ [her now four-year-old son with comedian husband Chris Soldevilla] was born. But we were broke, so maybe not working would have been a really bad idea.
I'd like to act alongside . . . Gerard Butler—sincerely, for the hot factor.
I used to hate, but now I love . . . my skin. It was incredibly broken out. Now I'm thankful I had acne because it meant there was plenty of oil in there. It's helping me with the whole "aging gracefully" thing.
In other news... I miss Juliet
ETA - oh and just putting this out there... I would TOTALLY see a movie with Gerard Butler and EM
