Re: Thank God it's Faraday- a Daniel Appreciation thread
Just simple looks do nothing to me. That's why Miles and sometimes even Jack annoy me.
I like Sawyer because of the sense of humour... liked Charlie for the same reason, and for his sharpness as well (he was so good at discribing something... funny and exact!), I like Sayid for his contradictory character, I love Dan because of the awkward, dreamy "how did I get here?" personality, and I adore Desmond... for everything he is. I could go on about that for hours so I'm not going into details.
On the other hand I have high regard for Ben and for Locke, but as men they are out of my league.

lol I don't have a crush on Dan. I just think he rocks and is a great character (and Jeremy is a great actor). I have no shame in admitting my Sawyer/Josh love.
Re: Thank God it's Faraday- a Daniel Appreciation thread
Last night I had a new thought on a possible cause of Daniels memory loss, and I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner.Right now I'm a bit douptful that he's time travelled yet and it doesn't seem like a tramuatic head injury would fit in with his story now. Which would leave the radiation exposure. Now that itself wouldn't cause memory loss but it could lead to the development of a brain tumor which would have had to be removed surgically and memory problems is one of the most common side effects of loss of brain tissue from these surgaries. By doing this they could connect him with Jack which they are oh so fond of. I know spinal sugeons don't do that kind of neuro surgury but you'd never see them in emergency ward surgary either.
I'm probably over analyzing this here, but it is the most scientifically probable explanation for it. Of coarse, with Lost, that means that it's the least likely to happen.

Really I thought that they where fond of connecting everyone they could with Christian Shepard not Jack
